The Current State of /tg/

After 4 or 5 years without logging in and had thousands hours before I would like to share my opinion about the current state of this server and how it used to be.

It's way more fun now with all that new technology, stuffs to do, stuffs to break. Now we got tritium bombs, mining satchel of holding, mining and exploring, new bots etc.

1. Shuttle grief: what the hell? If I could call me an old player, it really rustle my jimmies all grief that is happening right now. After a couple days playing I am yet to see people behave in the escape shuttle before arrival in Nanotrasen.
2. Grief: /tg/ is madness and chaos we know... But why non-antag keeps crushing walls, invading brig, bridge, wherever they want for fuck's sake.. It's troublesome.
3. Crash: byond is not responding. Got better since I downgrade to 512.1416 I guess (thanks to some admin who told me to do so)
4. FUN: yet to be found jk. Almost every job is fun to play but medical doctor of course.
5. Meta: in times of discord I have seen people not communicating with each other and helping each other what's pretty lame.

These are my two cents about the current state of this lovely community. Or maybe I've aged and stopped seeming to be funny about some things, like greytiding.

To beat the tide you must become the red tide. Heres what you do, play HoS. Bolt open the sec doors all the way to the armory, and wait there in a plant. The first tider to come in you taser them and execute them. Then hide them in a locker. This always works

I will agree that the greytide appears to be particularly bad lately, with people causing blatant station sabotage like plasma flooding during a nuke ops round or EMPing or hacking air alarms to cause panic siphons, or spamming fire alarms, along with normal low level tide like spacing equipment and breaking windows 4noraisen.

People have been complaining about assistants griefing everything since the dawn of time. I remember people complaining about this 5 years ago, nothing has changed.

Personally the ban doesnt affect me, but the guy who posted this thread really got dicked over. 0 explanation as to why it was denied or what he could do to improve.. this is not good folks. if we don't help this guy then it'll be us next.

Kick out? The first time I left of my own accord. Second time you went on a campaign about me causing drama when I trialed so I decided to tell kor I didn't care about it anymore. ( I have IRC logs somewhere to that effect) I decided to lay low because I just wanted to play but people had to look up my records post my and yell at me on the forums so I started posting there again.

I've never been banned from the server so... thats about it for any talks of kicking. I sometimes come back on as janitor or HOP, however the server runs kinda slow on my end currently.
