Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you Cosmic. You can switch out combat/camping skills at any time so long as you're not in combat. And you can use items in combat without it going towards your character's turn, so you can pop a bandage on the bleeding leper and throw a chop at an enemy on his turn

I think it is more that he has fallen out of favor since the CC finale nerfs made a certain very broken build no longer viable. He is now basically a must-take for prolonged Endless Mode runs just because there is not really many better options for stress management and he has some versatility with his bleed and mobility skills

It's times like these I wonder why I always take a class for utility or companion healing over damage. Though if she took my crusader or leper, I'd probably have suffered a different fate.

I'm not crazy about leper. Hound is god tier though since he is a jack of all trades and a master of some. Dunno why you took crusader aside from self heals. Stats wise bounty hunter is OK but marks are pretty useless.

You're probably bleeding gold by giving more than the bare minimum to low-level heroes. Heroes below resolve level 3 aren't worth sending to the sanatorium in 90% of cases and you shouldn't be buying trinkets from the nomads unless it's for 5th level heroes or higher

Some party comps do better or worse in different dungeons, but a good all rounder is:
Vestal / Bounty Hunter / Hound Master / Leper
Give the Vestal generic healbot abilities - Judment / Dazzling Light / Divine Grace / Divine Comfort
Give the Bounty Hunter - Collect Bounty / Mark for Death / Come Hither / Flashbang or Caltrops (depends on the dungeon)
Give the Hound Master - Hound's Rush / Blackjack / Guard Dog / Target Whistle
And finally, give the Leper - Chop / Withstand / Solemnity / Intimidate

I've never run into a problem this composition couldn't handle, has great damage output and can lay down debuffs for days, and even has Marking synergy in the form of the Hound Master and Bounty Hunter's abilities.

The new Zedternal gamemode for KF2 in the workshop was a breath of fresh air into the game. It's a pain in the ass to set up but damn was it worth it.

I'll take the bounty hunter anywhere tbh. Wounding helmet plus legendary bracer and he is packing a whopping +45% damage before marks. I usually take collect bounty, finish them off (hits the third row which kicks ass and synergises well with a PD) his mark (in many cases the prot debuff is better than the dodge debuff on the culty/HM's marks) and then either caltrops or uppercut stun. You lose out on his utility powers due to the debuffs from wounding helmet but hes such a fucking powerhouse its totally worth it.

I also love my boi leper just because of his massive base damage. Load him up with good trinkets (the front row damage boost and legendary bracer/dismas head are good ones) and then give him any +damage curio buffs you come across and he becomes a fucking force of nature. I recently had a level 3 leper hitting up to 40 damage on non-crits from buffstacking, its madness. I also usually give him hew just because it is useful for clearing shitties like low level skeletons, spiders and maggots

I tried that. I just can't get into it enough to throw money at it.

To be fair if I actually started playing I would be the most boring player ever. I already thought it out. At one point I cosplayed as Viola Cadaverini I kinda wanted to be a loan shark in game so I could start up a real life Tender Lender.

Eve is F2P now, with some restrictions.
But for a casual fag you've got enough there.

There's new exploration mechanics and apparently corps pay good money for your findings, but I lost interest pretty quick when I remembered that mining in eve is even more boring than elite (although atleast with eve mining you can go off and do something around the house) so didn't look much into exploration.

Mining is god awful terrible never do it

Trading, ratting etc is much more interesting and profitable than mining

Apparently mining is getting an overhaul sometime at the end of this year, including making it actually pay something worth the time it takes and the risk of having to bring a ship that isn't fitted for combat

I remember it was more profitable resource wise to run missions for the NPCs, bookmark the locations, and then recycle the scrap salvage components than it was to mine

Mining is only for when you're going afk in highsec or some kind of corp op where you've got 10 of you clearing a belt

I have had a streak of outrageously bad luck in my Darkest Dungeon stream game, to the point where I nearly had a full party wipe on what is normally the easiest type of mission possible (short recruit level ruins mission). Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong spectacularly, and only two afflicted deaths door heros limped home from that shitfest. If my crusader hadnt made those deaths door saves it would have been a full wipe since the jester had no skills he could use from the front row.

This torchless run has really made me feel the fucking pain this game is capable of inflicting on the human mind

Holy parties are usually better at torch management due to their light skills. I don't think any other party members has any that increase light, bar the Arbaleist 's signal flare

Yeah i still use those abilities, i just snuff the torch out instantly so it doesn't matter. Can't part with my vestal stun.

On the other hand, certain trinkets like the Dark Bracer become stupidly powerful on a no torch run. A permanent +10% crit chance on top of the +3 crit chance from full dark is absurd

As Spain I took morocco, france, low countries, and all of south america and I'm getting a ridiculous +150 income per month

It's so boring now I think I might just start a new game.

Tbh it feels to me like most paradox/4x games are just glorified clickers where blobbing is the winning condition. Are your numbers high enough to expand in the nearest square/hex/solar system? No? Keep clicking until they are, rinse, repeat.

I'm enjoying how different it feels to play in Asia as opposed to Europe. The quickly rising tech costs really sting. Playing on hard, too.

I think I also realize just how OP Castile was, seeing how even the AI shot up to #2 Great Power early in the game.
