Special roles that can come into the round unexpectedly (ie. space ninjas, xenos) should have all have an AFK-check prompt in them. It's kinda silly if somebody who's AFK gets a space ninja and it sits there the whole round wasted. These prompts already exist for admin-created nuke teams and deathsquads and the such.

Likewise, all prompts for this kind of thing should make a noise, so that people can realize they're being offered the role and tab back into the game. The prompts that currently exist make no noise.

Also, this isn't worth its own thread so I'll say it here - you should be able to observe facehuggers. You can observe things like the nuke disk and the singularity. Facehuggers are hecka important too.

I think space ninja is being removed, pending a complete re-write since it'd be easier just to start over than try to fix that abomination.
Clickable links in the chat would be better than the pop-ups we have, which have a tendency to auto-select whatever you happened to be over while trying to type in dead chat.

Agreed. There should be a popup for all special roles that turn ghosts into antags. Some people may be AFK, or just not want to play the role.

/vg/ uses links in the chat that allow peeps to sign up for xeno rolling whenever someone is infected

Yeah this was one of my favorite things on /vg/ specifically, along with the RPD.

This led to me disabling pAI selection.
