Your side of the story: Introducing a new person to the game when the admin briefly asked about our similar IPs then promptly Permabanned myself, the new guy, and a third guy who i had introduced to the game earlier and was playing at the same time on the same network.

Why you think you should be unbanned: I...I really enjoy this game. Im still in that awkward phase of learning all of the evershifting mechanics and backstory to really be comfortable developing characters to roleplay but I have alot of fun just figuring that out. As far as the metacommunication, no-contest? There was, this game is complex and lets not lie, initially awkward. So yeah, I was coaching him. But, we were non-antag, the only two in that jobslot on the slow server, very far away from everyone in a job that contains enough of everything to get going(shaft miner). All in all, it was OOC metacom about OOC stuff. Mercy?

The ban will be lifted, try to avoid playing all on the same IP again, please. I don't care if you're around each other ICly just keep all communication strictly IC about the game unless it's some sort of non-revealing question. I appreciate your honesty, just follow the instruction above and we'll have no future problems.

I am not entirely sure how to address the network problem. I, and the people i have introduced to the game, are currently at a college, miles away from our personal places of residence. Our only network connection that we have is through our college's network, which, as we so recently discovered, only has one public IP... As fishy as this sounds, feel free to do an IP lookup and you'll see that the address is owned and maintained by a higher education institution.

This might be something that your admin team should discuss because if other players at government addresses (State institutions, like colleges and universities) play this game and are banned because of network settings out of their control, its going to become an issue that will affect more and more new players.
