im taking a shit right now so im gonna make an idea thread because the shit im taking is reminding me of changelings
ok so
instead of fleshmend lets replace it with some fuckin stupid thing im gonna call "Winding"
grabbing this ability gives you two buttons, wind and unwind
winding will burn chems to heal you while you're standing still
unwinding will hurt you but replenish your chems while you're standing still
winding obviously burns more chems than unwinding should give but you probably assumed that
only problem with this is you can camp medbay and unwind and then heal yourself but i'll wait till I take another shit to think of what to do about that

Re: stupid fleshmend change idea
maybe instead of damage since literally nobody would use it unless they had a burn/brute patch to immediately negate the damage you could make it a stun instead
perhaps once they ability is activated you start rapidly taking stamina damage and once you get stunned by it the ability toggles off automatically but you're put to sleep for a good 10 seconds or something?
but then at that point why even bother using it
idk doesnt seem like it'd be any good in practice
