I was hopping tables as an assistant. The first heinous act of table-hopping was in the bar; the bartender was dead, so I hopped the table and grabbed the body, dragging it to medbay. Then I grabbed his shotgun, hopped the table to the kitchen, was noticed by the (revhead) chef July Ward, tried to run away, got cornered in the bar, disarmed her flash(?), flashed her, took her ID, and dumped her down disposals. At this point I was milling about in the kitchen for a little, dumped July's PDA/ID down disposals, and tried to climb into hydroponics, whereupon I realized I couldn't, because I didn't have July's ID anymore. At this point I leave the shotgun on hydroponics/kitchen table and leave, because I had been hearing derivatives of the WGW word. I ran to the library, overpowered the librarian (who didn't fight back) via a classy chokeslam table maneuver, checked one of the books, realized my mistake, and left. I proceeded to leave, passed an irate July (who had managed to get her hands on a second flash), was chased down to arrivals, and got revved. I attacked an officer, got arrested.

Then Gamarr busted me for hopping a fucking table into the kitchen almost ten minutes after it happened. I like to think the chances of there being an ahelp in this scenario are relatively low.

I think I should be unbanned because nobody was hurt, nothing was destroyed, and the only stolen items were from a dead guy (displaced an amazing one room over) and an antagonist, but maybe you knew that.

My problem with this is that you instantly metagamed the chef as being a revhead just because he had a flash, and therefore declared it valid for you to steal his id and kick him out of his own kitchen for retaliating to your trespassing.

I didn't metagame anything. I threw her down disposals and took her ID to get her away from me and held onto her flash just in case she caught up. The actual altercation itself took place in the bar, where we would both be trespassing.

The only joke on me right now is that I may never be allowed to unwind after a stressful round or day and just wander the station without responsibilities solely because I made the incredibly stupid mistake of engaging Elyina after a post like that. Can we get on-topic?

This ban is kind of ridiculous. The chef shouldn't have had a flash either way, he presumably didn't yell ";CHEF REV HEAD" I think because Pastebin won't load.

What was the chef even going to ahelp? "I got rekt while trying to convert someone"?

How is it not greytiding for him to crawl up into someones workplace, pick a fight, and then dunk the person, whose only fault was to happen to be a revhead. Icepacks has a history of being shitty when assistant, and when I askd him why he again didn't feel like answering straight and so I gave him, again, an assistant jobban since he can't play the job without sticking his nose into situations and caushing shit.

Look in those logs and tell me where you saw me pick a fight. I was just roaming and got attacked by a revhead, who I decided not to just up and kill explicitly because I didn't have absolute rock-solid evidence of revolutionary activity beyond a particularly damning roundstart flash, which would've been reason enough for anyone else.

The real reason I've got this ban, Gamarr, is because I'm on your shitlist and this is your own little mode of punitive measure, and I can't say I appreciate that very much.

Spoke to Gamarr, and here's the deal I'll offer.

The jobban stays in place for a while.

You agree to two blanket-rules that you must follow at all times or I'll monthban you on the spot and laugh at any attempt to appeal.

1. Don't invade peoples' workspaces without an actual reason, that you can explain to admins when asked, something like 'he's murdering somebody' or 'he flashed an emag'.
2. When an admin asks you a question, answer it on the spot, clearly, concisely, etc. Don't evade, don't consider things 'beneath you', don't deflect. Minimize attitude unless the admin's being crap to you personally.

In which case I'm more than happy to remove the perma-jobban.

HBL said I'm free to discuss his terms in this thread. I don't think I deserve the long-term loss of a throwaway job nor do I think that I should get a ban for trespassing if I'm not doing it to directly antagonize or attack the owner of the space, let alone explain every time I do it.

People don't need to check in with admins whenever they invade someone else's "territory" and the responsibility of removing the trespasser is left to the owner of the space and station security. I don't see why I specifically need to be penalized for this, especially when I leave as freely as I enter.

Icepacks, quit trying to rules lawyer your way out of this with the micro argument. The macro counts.

You always ride the fine line with a pattern of behavior that is focused too much on the fucking with other people track and too little on the mutually beneficial fun track.

This incident is just the cherry on the cake so to speak.

You've been able to get away with a lot by trying to shift the focus to the micro. You were in a access controlled workspace as an assistant, someone with access to that workspace tried to remove you, you tossed them down disposals, something that would normally be really minor, if it wasn't for the fact that you do this kind of shit every god damn day.

With the amount of temp bans and gray suit bans you have, you should feel lucky you've been able to dodge judgement day this long.
