If your first time logged in is in January 2013, it probably means you've been playing before logging even started, which was in Jan 2013. Like... I joined in Dec 2010, so the majority of my playtime isn't logged with this.

From my personal experience, this chart is fairly accurate - though I recently went on my longest break ever, about 6-8 months.

A few new things.

The tool now tells you the first and last times you've logged into the tgs server and the percentage of time spent playing is based on these two values (used to be from first login to the time you load the page, even if you hadn't connected in 3 years.) The "time alive" percentage should work right now, I don't know if it was correct previously...

You can also now get a time graph that shows your play time so yay.

Yeah he was shit, there was one guy he banned who shitposted in the threads constantly because he banned him with reason "Im pretty sure the servers better off" on the guys like 3rd round.

I stopped playing a while before it died cause the admins had a really bad circlejerk, they had a nasty our way or the highway problem where they'd refuse to even pretend to new people, actively fucking with them in and out of game. Which forseeablely led to them never getting new players and the server dying. Shame though they had really good code.

I miss d20 though it's highs were high and it's lows low. Freeman was a pretty big shitter tho

He was made admin because he would hide in garbage cans in legionnaire armour with a shield and spear so he could rob people. Not a joke, the admins thought it was so funny they admimned him. Pretty sure he learned how to code after the fact. Although it was pretty fucking funny

The old tools are mostly deprecated. Ned's hosting a lot of new tools here and I thought he remade the playtime tool, but I think I'm just not seeing it. Go bug him

I calculated these numbers years ago so they may have changed since, but on average, each player connects tp each round 1.9 times and on average a round lasts 66.48 minutes.

So

Rounds = connections / 1.9
Time = rounds * 66.48
more info

The website did claim that these are ballpark numbers, after all
