Your side of the story: Me and a friend got banned for "metacomming", but this was probably a missunderstanding because while we were together in a Teamspeak channel, we didnt share any ingame information through this, other than that both our characters have gotten deaf at some point during the game, cedarbridge startet writing to my friend while we got permabrigged (which was like 5 minutes after we have gotten deaf). cedarbridge probably thought we were sharing anything and everything through teamspeak, which we don't, we know that that is against the rules.

Why you think you should be unbanned: Cedarbridge probably missunderstood what Cyberyak wrote to him, I dont think sharing that we are deaf through teamspeak isn't worth a permaban, because it's something you can also share ingame through pointing, which could have been done in probably the same time as saying it through Teamspeak. We both really love playing on TGStation and don't want to be banned because of something so, probably, insignificant.

Do not use information gained outside of in character means.
    I.e.. metagaming. This especially refers to communication between players outside of the game via things like Skype, known as metacomms. Characters are otherwise allowed to know everything about ingame mechanics or antagonists, as well as keep persistent friendships or relationships with other characters when not for the purpose of unfair advantage by teaming up together for little IC reason. 

You and your friend by admission share information about the round via Teamspeak. When questioned about this your friend informed me that you couldn't share that information in-game due to deafness. Ignoring that this is the point of deafness, your friend insisted that you should be allowed to continue sharing information over teamspeak because reasons? Wtih your responses I'm not sure that either of you really understand the reason that this rule is enforced as strongly as it is. Out of game communications pose a substantial benefit to the cheating players without reciprocal benefit to anyone else. Heance why it is called "cheating." What information about the round you're exchanging is not really material.

Further, over the course of at least two rounds you and your friend, joined the same department (chemists IIRC at the time of the bans) and generally griefed until being thrown together in perma. The obviousness of your meta-cooperation was such that it was brought to my attention by another player who recognized what was going on and asked us to step in and investigate.

I was watching you two since the first pm came in from another player about how you two might be meta gaming and I stand with Cedarbridge on this ban 100%. Before you went deaf there was little communication between you two and after both of you went deaf you worked together to beat to death anyone who came into perma wordlessly without even trying any form of communication.
