I'm pretty sure Saeg is one of the few admins on during the times I'm on, so they're generally the admins I trust in making sure I don't fuck up too badly in security or as a greyshirt.

So far it's gone pretty good and I can usually get an answer before I start doing anything questionable.

Several times Ive had to ahelp for little things (how okay is it to blatantly explain to a newbie Sec how to use the .s channel, etc.) and every time that Saeg has been the one to reply, they've answered in detail and made sure I understood what was okay/not okay. On top of that, they've never left me in that weird 'post-bwoink anxiety' thing that can happen sometimes, when admins get distracted by all that fun stuff and don't get back to you.

He's a very reliable and competent administrator who I've found to be enjoyable to work with.

The only thing I'd like to see improve is his temperament. Can be a little too strict at times.

I'd just like to see him take it easier a notch.

Saegrimr is by the far, the most impressive trialmin I have seen in a long time. They are one of the few admins who bothers to dig into the person involved in a matter and pull the logs and do an actual and complete thorough investigation. Very formal and very professional, they take administration very seriously. I don't think they are too strict at all, they are pretty much perfect when it comes to how they conduct things in my eyes.

I really like saegrimr. He got into the swing of adminning very quickly, when I was first tempmining him he pretty much knew what he was doing from the start. He has no issues with banning people who deserve it and is quick & eager to respond to adminhelps. He is pleasant to talk to, has good taste in touhous, fun to play soku and risk of rain with and his voice sounds like a teacher. He's good.

You have 14 bans for IC in OOC. If we were to consider all your noted bans for the 15 minute rule doubling for repeated bans, your next ban should be 170 days long.

Since when has 15m doubling been a thing? IC in OOC is blanket 15m, as per all of my bans for it in 2012 and 2013. The only time IC in OOC isn't 15m is when it's round-ruining on the level of "X is a changeling, he's here right now and my body is here"

There's been a vote in the admin forum and it was unanimously agreed upon by 18 admins to increase ban durations for IC in OOC, doubling them each time. It was held on 28th of july.

>IC in OOC can be a no warning ban of 15 minutes, it can be longer if the IC in OOC is severe. To clarify, this is revealing anything about the current round that others can use in the OOC channel. If you are unsure do not say it.
>>Repeat offenders are subject to extended ban times for IC in OOC. If you recieved a 15 minute ban, the next ban you recieve for IC in OOC will be twice as long, after that an hour and so forth.

Seems like a stickler for rules, even 'banhappy' at times, but as far as I've seen, it kinda goes for everyone, so it's fair, I guess.
Anyway, helped me out today during cult since I was a cult head and had to log out. Didn't want to fuck over the team so I just Ahelped and Saegrimr was on it and dealt with that pretty well.

his activism regarding the new naming and meme debacle has given me a very bad first impression of him, but he's otherwise a nice guy so i'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
one thing ive noticed is that he tends to be rather timid when critiqued or argued with, and wont take a firm stance. even in this thread, when UtterNewbie said "Needs to work on his temper." he simply replied with a joke.
i think he should work on taking things more seriously.

Enforces the rules to an extreme, but then, maybe that's more a problem of the rules rather than a problem with him(if it's even considered a problem at all).
He could definitely afford to chill out a bit on the rules nazi thing, but overall seems like a decent admin.

Plus he's not afraid of people being able to post their opinions of his adminning, which goes a long way. Willingness to hear criticism is a sign of willingness to improve.

Tends to be cool headed and fun. Is a very good assist to the bus as he always seems willing to help log dive and offer consultation for issues. Have not seen him online recently, may be the shift in times online however.

Quick to jam that ding button due to his very serious admining, haven't read or came across any harsh but fair banning and from past experiences get's that banning blood-lust with his crazy eye and heavy breathing. But I do favor that he doesn't hold meta-vendettas, at least from what I've seen and heard.

You did warn me not to incite a riot or lynchmob, but all I did was say the complete opposite of what a captain had said in an announcement. You sorta didn't let me talk and assumed I knew what you were talking about when you apporached me in an adminPM. I didn't think much of it and for a long time had no clue what you were talking about. Every time I get a PM from you, it seems like it's always going to be like that. You assume I know what you're talking about and I don't want to be difficult. The good thing is that you actually PM and not just ban on the spot. Maybe you get into this mindset that players want to deliberately toe the line and see how much they can break the rules and get away with it then pretend to be clueless. I do my best to be as helpful as possible when being PMd, but it's kinda hard to do when I have no idea what I did wrong or was a no-no. Sorry if that gave you bit of trouble, but like I said, I was lost and getting frustrated because I wanted to know what I did wrong.

All in all, you're alright and thanks for doing the not so fun part of administration and having to deal with a headache of a playerbase.

I've been banned by you before, but most of the time I understand where you're coming from and I know you can't go easy on anyone for the sake of the community.
