I really want to like Dannno, because he has a good attitude and he's generally fun to be around. But he seems to be unable to maintain any sort of professionalism while he's working as an admin, including such things as responding to ahelps with memes and shitposting in the hut about admin decisions that he doesn't care for.

While I was writing this, I realized that the player in question actually made a complaint about this, to which Dannno responded with memes.

In the same day, Dannno is completely unprofessional and dissmissive in ahelps regarding a case in which a Cyborg is being called rogue for trying to abide by it's laws and break up a fight between two crewmembers, culminating with:

Completely ignoring the fact that declaring Silicons as rogue for trying to do their job is against server rules. I'll refrain from posting the logs from Asay, but afterwards he goes off about how it was "shit ahelping" and focusing solely on the idea that it was "on someone else's behalf" rather than having the insight to look at the big picture, or do literally any investigating whatsoever.

These are only a couple of examples pulled from a single day. I really want Dannno to do well in the capacity of an admin, as some people are able to act a lot more mature and professional when they need to, but that clearly isn't the case here.

What are you talking about? He was ahelping because someone was attacking the clown and we both told him that it's not his place to ahelp about something where he doesn't know the full story and that he should try deal with the situation IC. The only other ahelp he made was about someone trying to cult themselves on purpose and Dannno dealt with that complaint fairly. Not once did he complain or ask us to deal with the people calling him rogue.

I apologized in japanese

in regards to the borg, the entire issue was quite clearly IC as perceived by myself and my fellow admin. The person was very snide and discontented with being told not to worry about ahelping for other people, which I think is stupid and deserves a degree of chirping. getting salty and going into OOC with it just because you didn't get a pat on the head for trying to get someone else in trouble is concerning!

The type of admin that makes playing sec unbearable in general, and strongly biased against people that punish poor behaviour.

This was his first ban appeal which was handled poorly. I'm not the only one with this opinion.

This feedback is unfortunately unactionable, as your ban appeal was denied and I was told I made the correct decision not only by the head administrator, but other parties as well
I am sorry that you feel as though I have wronged you; Not because I am ACTUALLY sorry to upset you, but because I think your attitude marks a very bad line of thought in security players.
I wish you could understand what you did wrong. I hope you figure it out one day.

I'm sorry it came to this. I would have preferred if you could have stayed in supportbus to discuss with other admins, and I would have preferred if you were willing to put yourself in my shoes as PKP is doing now or given your solution in the appeal thread.

I hope you understand this treatment of sec players and the mindset of blaming them for reacting is going to butt heads and is the perfect example of why people hate playing sec when admins protect people that instigate.
I hope you change your mind and opinion of me if you choose to watch me in later grounds.
And I hope you can change your mind on security players and offer more leeway as the previous admins did.

Look, I get that you don't like that it didn't go your way, but I was never going to capitulate just because you would "prefer it". When I left supportbus, I did ask if there was anything else you wanted to talk about.

It's just that it's pretty weird that the kind of person who would usually get nothing but confinement in the shed qualifies as an admin. Also, while stuff outside /tg/station probably doesn't matter as much, or at all, I'm still somewhat uncomfortable with an admin who's down with pretty much griefing of servers set up by /tg/ players.
