I realize I may get some hate, and some people voicing their ~strong~ opinions, but it's a simple question. The guides I've looked at and tested are all severely out of date. If someone can just link me one that's not old, or just tell me what the best way is, that'd be great, and very well-appreciated.
Now, before you go and tell me "actually do research!!11!!", just don't. I only want to know so I can actually have fun with the things I make and not spend half- or the entire round just testing random shit. Sorry if I come across as aggressive, I've been testing myself and reading other peoples guides for a few hours now, so this is my absolute last resort.

I'd say that this one is the best one, tells you how far you can get without help from other departments and the ways you can max out research with that help. It's not too hard to remember once you get used to doing it a few times.
