OOC confirmation.

i suggest that there should be an option to have a conformation box pop up before posting an OOC comment during a round.

i suggest this be implemented because i have, on numerous occasions, gotten banned for ACCIDENTALLY doing IC in OOC.
in addition to the sevral times i have made this error, i have seen others make the same mistake on three occasions.

the main was this happens are as follows:
hitting "O" when you meant to hit "T" in hotkey mode.
forgetting to hit "T" at all and saying something that contains an "o" before any "t"s.
typing a statement ahead of time so that you can post it during round-end and accidentally hitting "enter" too soon.

let me be clear: i DO NOT contest these bans. I screwed up, and it is only fair that i was punished. i simply am suggesting a way to prevent such errors in the future.

the fix is SIMPLE. when a person attempts to speak OOC during a round, have a popup appear and ask if they really wanted to do that.
there is already a similar system in place: if you type something beginning with ":" or ";", it asks for conformation pointing out that it appears that you wanted to say that IC.
i understand that constant reminders would be annoying to those players who do not have this issue. to avoid that, make these confirmations possible to disable in game preferences.

Maybe we should increase the stuff that triggers the "did you mean to use OOC?" flagh

because it currently does it for ; or :g or stuff like that and defaults to no on the confirmation box, easy enough to fix it

I've never once posted something in OOC that was meant for IC. I don't understand why this is such a problem.

sometimes ill type ooc, forget, then later type "say blablabla" and it gets sent to ooc
whenever this happens im able to play it off as not IC thankfully since usually what i say in ic is so vague out of context
