So I recently noticed that sybil is on the hub and bagil off the hub
And that we're now over the "population cap" that I heard was around 80
Why?

My guess is to boost the total server population without screwing over the server that's supposed to have a higher level of sportsmanship and maturity.

With my experiences of the hub on Basil as a player and limited experiences of it as an admin I don't really think this is a good idea, but I don't play on Sybil and rarely admin on it so I don't really have a horse in the race. If people on Sybil like it good for them, if not it should probably be taken off.

It's off the hub now.

Personally I enjoyed the hub rounds. Stupid shit was happening and most people just seemed to be having fun and going along with it. Somehow less adminhelps than non hub rounds, and those ahelps we got were quickly dealt with with long bans because they were blatant griffons rather than veteran line toers.

Plus security was actually full staffed, and the jail cells were actually getting used as we dealt with petty crime.

I guess I wouldn't want it forever, but it felt relaxed and chaotic and very nostalgic to me.

We also were not getting the mythical summer bump in numbers this year, and we're gonna need to let in new players sooner or later.

Finally I wanted to put the bee movie script on the hub and it worked and was pretty amusing.
