Your side of the story: I joined in and was tagged as part of some gang. Was hesitant to ask on what to do and my friend asked as he was dead. He asked in OOC and was banned. I poke saegrimr and was banned for metagaming with my friend.
Why you think you should be unbanned: I have read the rules again and was directed to the wiki for questions about the game instead of asking in OOC/having a friend do it for me. While I'd like to be unbanned, I understand if you won't. But at the very least reconsider my friends ban at least. (thecountblackula)

Seeing as we can't trust the both of you to play without metacomms, only one of you gets unbanned, so yeah figure that one out and post here.

I think we can cut new players just a tiny bit of slack. I unbanned both of you, but if you two do it again (and especially if you cheat together in game like this) you're gonna get permad again.

Fair enough, but yeah metacomms breaks a lot of really huge parts of this game which is why its treated so harshly.

Yeah no I get why, metacomms ruins shit entirely and it's incredibly hard to catch. The intent of the rule doesn't seem to line up with this situation though.

Besides, it'll be very easy to tell if they're metagaming now that they put themselves on the radar.

Thank you for responding so quickly! Fell asleep shortly after the ban(s) cause my friend lost his shit. We'll avoid using TS while playing SS13 and avoid interacting as much as possible. Also read the rules and will have my friend read the rules once he returns.
