Post feedback on this thread, and debate whether or not it's valid to kill cremate/gib/space/debrain then cook someone for flooding hallways with slippables, teleportables, stunning-esword equivalents, and such.
This is in response to CoreOverload's demands for a feedback thread.

this merged pull from last month
for dummies: you can crossbreed plant stats (grass that can glow like glowshrooms, apples that slip etc)
note this is completely an 'i ded' topic but coreoverload wanted feedback before nerfs were applied
subsequently welcome to the forums

Re: Botany update
I've been playing this extensively to see what overpowered bullshit is possible.
Surprisingly it's not as OP bullshit as I first thought, you're limited by the chems you can naturally produce in plants and you need a LOT of unstable mutagen if you get bad RNG.
Making nutriment filled oranges to replace the chef entirely is great if there's no chef, or helping him make kickass meals with 30 yield plants so the crew remains happy is good too.
You can make liquid lemons that splat when thrown and cause you to slip through bluespace if you stand on them.
The plant stuns ARE overpowered though. I can make a 100 potency slip chilli that'll stun for 20 seconds. I'd have enough time to run a lap of the station and still restrain them. As much as I love the ridiculous stun times, i'd rather that be nerfed than the DNA machine be removed.
Either way, making an army of walking mushrooms, or making 100 potency pure carpotoxin koibeans for chemistry, or giving the clown bluespace bananas, or dropping slippy apples all over science, this is whacky zany fun in the style of SS13 and I love seeing what people are coming up with.
(100 potency death nettles are robust as shit, but they seem to fall apart after like 2 whacks all the time.)
