The south is a horrible place where only the craziest mofo's survive. I went to Georgia, Alabama and Florida back in 2000 for my great-great-grandmother's funeral and I remember not enjoying a single bit of it, well maybe taking a piss in a forest was kinda enjoyable never did that before.

It's kinda weird how giving the old man a good sendoff(though I still need to receive and release my allotted portion of his ashes here in vegas) has helped my mood. I'm barely even angry at work. I'm actually cajoling and having a good time.

There's something to be said about the other shoe finally dropping, you know? Once someone passes you'll feel loss, but you're also free from the stresses of worrying about them. I'm currently that way with my grandpa on my dad's side--he's 95 and he's basically got dementia. It's not Alzheimer's, he's just so old that he'll forget what he's already asked you less than 5 minutes later. It's rough seeing him like this, and he needs someone with him all the time in case he falls (again), so I'm honestly half-hoping he just goes peacefully in his sleep some night. My dad and my aunts all feel the same way, I think. It feels heartless, but it just doesn't feel like there's too much of him left.

I think it's just oldasfuckitis. We went to see him on Saturday night when both my brother and I were home, and it's possible it might be the last time we do. And... I think I'm okay with that. I feel bad for my dad, though, on the brink of having lost both his parents, but I think he's tired of making sure the old fellow doesn't forget to eat or hurts himself or something.

well actually let me revise my statement. I typically only go on fridays but if I eat at like say taco bell; well we all know how that turns out. If I eat no fast food I generally 99% of the time only go on fridays. The catch I guess for not having to worry about #2 everyday is that when it comes friday...lets just say subway should be paying me $5.

actually it's weird how much I don't eat anymore. In HS I used to get like 6 hotdogs, 2 nachos, 2 cokes every pepband game or on marching contest days I'd get 2 supreme nachos, 2 walking tacos, 2 cokes. Now, unless I go out to eat or stop on class days to get taco bell for dinner; I only eat dinner. I'm 100% certain that on nearly (special days like pizza night not included) every day of the week I eat a home cooked dinner. I hardly wake up early enough to fix myself breakfast or lunch. I might make a sandwich every few days for lunch but that's about it. I don't even snack as hardcore as I used to. Probably must of my food intake is snacks anyway but it's like ritz crackers and striped fudge cookies once a month.

Learned from a friend I was housemates with about a week ago that the last Oxford house I lived in has gone down the shitter and some of the chapter heads are ready to pull the plug on it. The guy who was house president while I was there was arrested and is doing serious jail time after violating his parole by trying to steal tires and the new house president has been letting people get away with using. From what my buddy said maybe three out of the 11 people living there are actually sober. So basically it's more or less a trap house now. I think they did me a favor kicking me out.

She'll come back when she gets hungry. I had one of my cats run out the front door and not come back all night 6 or 7 years ago. We left the house open and screamed around the whole town looking for him. We didn't find him until the next morning because he'd come back up the stairs and came into our house without us seeing him.

So apparently my brake lights aren't working. Apparently ONLY my brake lights too as I can't see any of the others lights, running lights and hazard lights and turn signals included, malfunctioning. Guess I'm going to be digging through both fuse boxes tonight.
