To be robust is not about combat prowess, it is the state of readiness for the situation at hand.

Re: RED SHIRT BEWARE OF BELGIUMS
there are so many nuke op jokes to be made but I won't because I actually live within the 100km disaster area around one of Belgium's nuclear reactors

on the arrival shuttle, I saw the iconic toolbox on the ground. I clubbed myself in the head with it trying to figure out the controls.
Setting the tool box, now bloodied, back on the table; I went to heal myself with a medkit. I clubbed myself in the head with that too.
I've come a long ways from asking how to switch hands.

The worst anyone could do is cause some radioation leak, and while I'm not Nuclear Engineer something tells me modern Nuclear Power Plants in a rich country is not going to be easily susceptible to sabotage.
It took a tsunami to fuck over the Japanese reactors for example. Chernobyl only happened because the Soviets were cheap as fuck.
E: Also they disabled his card remotely when his death was confirmed, so good luck guys.

It didn't get stolen first of all. That was just shit reporting.
Secondly even if it did get stolen they would actually disable it instantly, so yeah...
Just fear mongering. Once again.

The Beznau nuclear power plant (German: Kernkraftwerk Beznau, abbreviated KKB) is a nuclear power plant of the Swiss energy utility Axpo, located in the municipality Döttingen, Canton of Aargau, Switzerland, on an artificial island in the Aar river. Producing energy since 1969, it can claim to be the world's oldest operating nuclear power plant.

Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant was opened in 1977. The disaster happened in 1986 on a newly constructed reactor.
Chernobyl era nuclear reactors are still in widespread operation around the world, including the US. They aren't controlled by error-detecting computer systems, they are controlled by humans, disjoint bookkeeping and are susceptible to human error. The cause of the Chernobyl disaster was human negligence/error, not a technical fault. And while you'd expect today's reactors to have technical failsafes which will prevent such human negligence/error from ever being applied to the actual reactor, this only applies to newly built reactors. Reactors built before 1986 almost certainly don't have any sort of failsafes of that sort - or, at most, retrofitted failsafes.

To my fellow red shirts be on your toes, Belgium dirty smelly got fucked by his iman as a child mudslime terrorist might try to get you. Remember not to walk your dogs at work!
Edit: Also the worst, feasible, thing they could do is somehow steal some nuclear material to use in a dirty bomb.

Re: RED SHIRT BEWARE OF BELGIUMS
If we are talking worrying targets chemical plants and warehouses probably qualify, especially ones in corrupt shit holes where they don't follow safety standards because muh profits.
First it explodes because it isn't some fucking bunker like a nuclear plant this actually does something then it spills or blows chemical crap everywhere to taint the earth with potentially much longer lasting contaminants than nuclear materials.

Re: RED SHIRT BEWARE OF BELGIUMS
I remember hearing once where some guys stole an armored truck in Mexico full of radioactive waste. Everyone got fucking scared there was about to be a dirty bomb made, but they quickly found the truck abandoned.
Apparently the idiots thought it was a money truck, opened a barrel, got dosed to shit with radiation and ran, probably dying shortly later from super cancer.

wew lad, you seem clueless. Read up on the void coefficient and passive safety, RMBK reactors and difference between them and pressurized water reactors.LiamLime wrote:snip
