You should just let people move the pieces wherever and whenever so the two people playing have to rely on eachother to not cheat or flip the board when they start losing and then get into fights over "YOU CAN'T FUCKING MOVE THE PAWN TWO SPACES AFTER ITS ALREADY MOVED COME THE FUCK ON"

Actually that kinda was my idea... You could play a real actual game, or be an absolute tard and fuck around, make up your own rules!
(it'd be a lot easier to code too)

You could have it be a PDA program that can be played with other nearby crew
Well, it's not at the menu stage yet, but i did manage to make some chess pieces in game. if i PR'd it now, there could probably be some assistant autism shenanigans.
