Ban type (What are you banned from?): tgstation sybil
Ban reason and length: metagaming and permanent
Time ban was placed (including time zone): 29th of December GMT 00:32am
Your side of the story: I was showing my friend (pummistone) how to play the game by letting him follow me around. I realise this goes against RP. We didn't cause any trouble but I see the error of my ways.
Why you think you should be unbanned: I enjoy the server and wish to learn more about the game and have fun on your server. I will not cause any trouble in the future.

I see that this is a second ban appeal for one what was already denied. Normally we require a few months in between appeals and normally I would just reopen the other one if extra infomation would come about, but it seems easier to leave this one where it is.

I apologize for lying. I know it was wrong but from my perspective it looked like if I admitted to helping my friend and teaching him the game would result in me getting banned instantly without getting to explain.
I really like the game and when I played on the server I enjoyed interacting with the other players and I have learnt from my previous mistake. I will act accordingly if I do get unbanned.

No I didn't. However one person being a shit does not require for someone to reply in kind. The thread was deleted and they were asked to repost in the correct format, which they are now doing.

The issue is you have lied and we have very little reason for us to trust you now. A lot of this game requires trust as the game itself has many loopholes and RP elements that require people to work together without purposely fucking over people.
You then acted fairly bratty about the whole issue, of course that didn't deserve other admins dog pilling on being assholes in return either.

Just to put it out there, if there was a chance of you being unbanned your friend would have to remain banned as per our normal dealings with metacoms.

I'm not lying now. I'm not making an excuse, it was wrong. It just seemed like if I admitted it I would have been banned faster. Again, not an excuse but that's how I saw it at the time. It will not happen again.
My friend didn't even like the game in the end despite showing him how to play. I however, enjoy it. So it wouldn't be in issue.

Appeal denied:

Right, given the evidence and the right out lying you did to our admins, which we gave you a lot of leyway and chance to be honest, which you weren't. You also then threatened to ban evade and also started pretty shitty post, which Saegmir pointed out.

You can appeal in 6 months time as per our normal waiting.
