Trump appeals to weak-minded, gullible, wannabe tough guys who think that building a wall will magically solve all immigration problems. There are a multitude of different reasons that could explain why he didn't force them off the stage. Maybe he wanted to look open and accepting. Maybe he just didn't have the security to force them off stage. Maybe he just didn't know how the fuck to respond. Not saying that I agree.

"momentum" doesn't change the fact that bernie can't win. there is literally no point in american history where a candidate as far-left as bernie has won an election -- this isn't the first time a socialist has run, lots of them ran back when it was less of a pejorative, they all got BTFO -- and the general attitudes of the country aren't different now.

Even that is vastly different in that businesses seek to make as much profit as possible while incurring as few expenses as possible. A government (should) devote as many resources as possible to improving infrastructure and providing for citizens as they can reasonably afford. Trump has fuck all experience in politics. State governors are more qualified than he is.

I've always been on the fence about voting third party. The two party system is cancer. You get to choose between authoritarian left and authoritarian center. You're right about Hillary's strategy being "do nothing" and that's the problem. She did this in 2008 too. It's an excellent strategy until you get the debate stage where everybody around you is giving concise, concrete stances on issues while she sits there and twiddle her thumbs. Hillary cannot debate to save her life, and in my opinion that's what cost her the 2008 nomination. She can't do anything that's not scripted. If Biden was going to run he would have announced it by now. Hillary and Sanders both have a lot of steam going. Any new candidates will get eclipsed by the two of them. The only reason Trump is even getting noticed is because he's insane. The race is too far along for any new serious candidates.
