Instrument Tempo

I don't know at what point it was changed but tempo for instruments went from inconsistent 5-10 per change to the weirdest fucking scaling system. Everything past 95 is 111-133-166-222-333-666 at its cap.


The fact the song page is now essentially obsolete because 90% of the listed songs require a tempo that isn't possible to even get near to, and writing a new song is a pain in ass above 166 for the most part.

Someone should fix it at some point.

If you copy the tempo from the songs page into the instrument it leaves you with a tempo that's a pretty good approximation of what you actually want.

I've been led to understand that no matter what tempo you put in, those tempos are the ones you really get, and at some point someone just removed the intervening sections

In the background they always result in these values.
the ONLY thing that was changed was the input and display, it functions identically to before and sounds the same, this was tested.

I will admit some songs round differently for exact values but that's not a huge deal. If you want more values, increase the framerate.
