Ban reason and length: The reason is: Was upset over a ruling the HoS made. Proceeded to stun, cuff, and drag him around while shooting a 10mm into his dragged captive.

Your side of the story:

To keep this short and simple

- Double Agent round
- Be Warden, Do warden things
- Catch some double agents
- HoS wants to give out traitor gear to assistants
- Myself and other officers try to stop him, verbally at first and then when he just decides to run off I taze and cuff him, take him back to the brig.
- He screams bloody murder, his traitor buddy (who he promoted to sec at round start after rushing straight out of the brig to do so) and some other people rush me in my office.
- Taser is dry, try to grab my other taser but accidentally get the 10mm pistol I had from one of the agents that wouldn't fit in his bag
- Fire off some shots towards the crowd coming after me (Obviously not aware that I'm not using a taser because I'm just spam clicking at this point).
- No one dies in this exchange, weight of numbers overwhelms me. Get cuffed, taken to interrogation and beaten to death by Scones and the Captain
- Get job banned for this because apparently according to Tedward I went gunho and decided to "shootemup"




Why you think you should be unbanned:

So a few things here

First of all, I did not stun cuff and drag the HoS around in circles shooting at him. Not in the slightest. As I've said from my side whenever I started using the pistol was in the head of battle when I was getting rushed by half of security including his personal buddy that he ran off at round start to promote.

Dude wanted to give out an E-Bow and other items because "he helped us find the double agent" when it's very common for them to rat each other out, not to mention the dude wasn't implanted and was a fucking assistant. I asked him to stop, A lot of security members asked him to stop. I detained him non-lethally to stop him giving the traitor gear out, I didn't try to strip him or do anything like that. Literally within 10 seconds of me getting to the brig his buddy arrives with weapons drawn and the rest of sec join in.

People have been given bans in the past for just randomly handing out Traitor gear to crew members, It's utterly shitty. It fucks security over in a bad way and just makes all of our jobs harder, I attempted to resolve the situation non-lethally and by trying to talk to the HoS, He didn't bother paying attention to me or to the other officers. Attempts were made to just keep him in the brig to talk to him but again his little metabuddy that he promoted at round start forced a confrontation by coming at me and another officer with weapons drawn.

Plus the HoS that round was just generally a bit of a shithead, OOC after the round people thought the job ban was pretty bullshit and the HoS deserved one for being utterly shit but heyho.

That's an utter lie.

I tased him multiple times because he kept getting knocked out of my grasp, The 10mm came out when my taser was dry and there were at least 5 other people in my office with weapons drawn, Bones the traitor Sec Guard being one of them.

Who was also an admin.

I fail to see the relevance since I've already explained to you I was getting rushed down and I panic grabbed the pistol instead of the taser.

No one was killed.

And honestly if you expect me to not spam click when I'm being rushed by 4 people where one stun means it's all over well I don't know what to tell you.

Not that it matters because I've now found out that at least 3 admins are involved in the situation so this should go really well.

I'm just perpetually skeptical that anyone could mistake a taser for a pistol, let alone for several shots. If you're that unrobust don't play security.

I don't think thats is strictly true, and it sounds like one person helped him anyway?

What is and isn't a good cause for mutiny and whether you can mutiny lethally wasn't really defined by Sticky though.

Anyway you guys seem to have handled this fine IC (executed the mutineer) I dunno why there had to be OOC involvement.

The "thought it was a taser" thing sounds dubious, but he'd have been allowed to use lethal force on a mob as a lone sec guy.

What do you mean a real shit, Can you elaborate as to what I did that meant I was a shit? I asked the HoS, pleaded with him to not give the gear out. I even tased him once and tried talking to him but he drew a weapon.

Uh lag basically, I've asked a bunch how to get rid of it since I'm an EU player. It comes and goes for me, sometimes it'll be fine then suddenly it takes 2-3 seconds for my actions to go through.

Personally, I'd say this was IC and should stay IC.

IC conflict between two people, whole department seemingly got involved, nobody got critted/killed.

The "aggravator" if you want to call him that, ended up getting punished IC for his "mutiny".

The person who helped me called the HoS awful in OOC post round. He didn't want the traitor gear being handed over anymore than I did.

It wasn't mutiny. It was an attempt to stop the HoS arming an assistant with dangerous equipment that belonged to an enemy of the station.

This appeal is dumb because Tornadium didn't actually break any rules but he doesn't understand which rules he didn't break so he's arguing all wrong I'm just going to call it stupid IC shit and lift it.
