Re: PubbyStation
The escape pod (I guess it is one, the one with multiple seats) does not have the escape pod console. You can use that console to get to the asteroid during red/delta alert, or when emagged. Quite useful feature to get rid of dead lizards or to escape the nuke

Greentexting as antag should obviously count as a "win". Maybe even double.Bombadil wrote:You'd have to let people who have the Die GLoriously objective some sort of bonus next round if they complete all their antag goals

Re: Make gangs great again
The problem is the dominator. It makes the whole thing into another boring baddies vs station mode.
Should have stayed with a gang needing a % of the station under control to win, making it a thing between gangs.
And maybe even a slight roleplay standard, e.g. not having security execute ...

Thanks for looking into it.MrStonedOne wrote:I have a trick up my sleeve to make the game code automatically detect these false positives and revert the stick bans to before the false positives, i've just been busy coding other projects.
I'll try to pop it higher up on my list.

Maybe you guys are not affected, but the server went from 80 to 30 people or so. It is effective against everyone. Is it really worth it? (Honestly, I dont know if its worth it, I dont have the numbers.) Why not have it on a toggle and enable it only when evaders are trying to grief?

The stickyban system is broken and does more harm than good
Seriously. I have so many good rounds ruined by getting banned by that shit. Please remove it until it works properly, or the server getting brigaded by evil people. :salt: :salt: :salt:

Add those yellow airlocks from bay, that trigger when the area gets depressurized. Always a bit silly to have no air anywhere on the station because botany got bombed.

Same problem started for me in the last few days. No problems before that. Rarely, some consoles/machines won't open a gui at all, after selecting a working console, all work again.

Are you just against change to have something to argue about? The traitor has to powergame for his objectives. Thats the whole point of being a traitor being send to complete that objective. And about denial, go and play atmos and disable the plasma loop every shift start and wait for the boing.

Re: Make paranoia great again
Yes, that's what it is about. You have to hide from the murderboner. Be paranoid about the murderboner. Not try to get that lucky disarm on the guy who cut down 10 people in a row.
If the murderboner fails his objectives because he is busy otherwise, he should not get his antag-token for the round.

Have Security automatically "survive" by just joining as Security. Would solve the Low-Sec problem as well.

It's because Sybil is a deathmatch. There is no rp, there is no goal except valids. I feel the game needs to add some value to someones life, so that trying to survive is higher on the list than trying to get that disarm on that double e-sword.

With them having random names, I prefer Demon. There "is" just one Devil, after all.

Prisoners are lacking tongues. Could be made a nice feature, give all the lavaland races their own set of tongues/ears (especially the lizards) to hamper their use on the station and make them more outlandish.

Re: Why do people observe to play Free Golem instead of read
Guys, the question was not "how do we stop people having fun the wrong way," it was "what makes this role fun, and how can we use those lessons to improve normal civillian play?"
People are usually forced to cooperate, it is not the FFA the station tends to end up in.
I always feel there needs ...

Re: Why do people observe to play Free Golem instead of read
Lavaland is new and refreshing. Golems allow you to go full-nerd and RND yourself from 0 to 100, Ashwalkers allow you to stab things and Prisoners are a survival adventure (Nearly made it back this round, found the vendor-ruin and got myself a suit-sensor thing to find the miners!). Jobs on the ...
