Re: Rule 3 Historical/Famous/Media Figures
Add it to policy that admins can alter small parts of a name that appears to only serve as a reference to a real or fictional person. If having a small part of your character name altered ruins your interest in the character, they were probably a cheap gimmick to begin with

Re: Escalating Against Shitsec
Ahelping everything is shit, I'd much rather solve it IC and have a free hand in doing so.
I agree with this take in almost all other cases, but escalation baiting is already out of control on the lrp servers and I think it would have a big negative impact on rounds if bored assistants felt ...

Re: Escalating Against Shitsec
Ahelp it. If your argument is "no admins online" then how is a policy change going to fix the problem of no admins online. If you legitimately think an admin isn't going to come online to investigate the appeal against sec, why are you worried they are going to come online to ban you for retaliating.

Re: [rasonj] maskenary - completely wrong
Hey, thanks for your appeal.
I spoke extensively with the admin bus and the overwhelming response was to permanently ban you because your initial ticket looked like banbait--it appeared, at the time, that you had tided into science, stirred up shit with a scientist, got owned, and ahelped:

Re: ban players for metagaming antagonists via code oversights, ie. ban antag testing entirely
Honestly just re-title to "ban antag testing entirely"
I agree with this stance. In the past I've been handed a gun and told "hey shoot this gun" as a test for sleeping carp (I had sleeping carp) (it was lame).
No one is going to do this without a darn big suspicion that you actually have it ...

Every round I have played with chang had involved him tiding the armory and trying to get lynched by the warden.

Re: Birdshot Station - Shipping Too Soon (PR in desc.)
I like a lot about the station, biggest thing I need is help navigating it. More signage would go a long way towards helping.

I also was too afraid to use the ahelp button for mechanic issues back when it matter most, a separate button would have done wonders for me when I was new.

Re: People that have broken in or attempted to break into the shuttle cockpit should be valid for immediate execution.
Ok yeah, I am for that. I just thought from the title it was just "anyone walks into cockpit for any rasin: EXECUTE", but I would not be against giving the cockpit the same protections as the brig: if they break in, throw em out, if they try again, throw em out of the shuttle, and if we have a ...

Re: Everyone on manual is so nice and accepting it gives me a fucking headache.
Manuel feels like the server that could use respawn in a productive way. Require you to respawn as a different character each time and hold them very strictly to the rp standard of manuel. Allowing respawns would help alleviate the big concern of round removing people from a server that typically ...

Re: Silicon and justifying denying orders within rule 1
I agree, I think all it takes is a friendly message reminding AIs that they are not concerned with nanotransen rules, but rather carrying out their laws. I personally was very hesitant to follow orders that had even the slightest possibility of causing future human harm for a long time as an AI ...

Re: Silicon and justifying denying orders within rule 1
As somebody who plays AI a lot, I would LOVE to see antags us me more, but having valid-hunting AIs and silicons have made them worried I might go :S LoLSwat ordered me to kill Lovemirror! What should I do??? also LoL is in the captain office bugging the floor! And I think the only way to stop ...

Re: What can we do to prepare for the next tide?
I joined during the sseth tide and started out on a low pop server to learn the controls, then moved to whatever server was on beyond that had 60-70 pop when I would want to play, this was usually tg event hall, but not always. I do not remember the exact message, but on joining you would get a ...

Re: Silicon and justifying denying orders within rule 1
Silicon players need to understand that they are not crew aligned, they're aligned to their laws. It fucks with how people think and destroys vibes.
This should be in the message silicons get when they spawn. Silicon policy suggests they should behave in a predicting crew aligned manner by ...

Re: Minor Suggestions
Man I really like the new progtot system and I think expanding part of it to all non-antag could really give players, especially lrp, more direction and player interactions. Progressive non-antag objectives like pray at chapel, eat pizza, take happiness drugs ect... that completing gives you mood ...
