everything sybil & bagil, cannot connect.

Ban reason and length:
Permad for attempting to hurt someone who was being a dick, went afk after i died to cool off. (pun not intended)

Time ban was placed (including time zone):
Roughly 6pm GMT+10, just after a cult round.

Your side of the story:
Myself and other miner were cool, third miner was a being a bit of a dick so tried to maim em, no luck there since im terrible at PvP in SS13, i died in lava, other miner killed the dickish miner i went afk to cool off (salty af)
Got permanently banned for not replying to PM's

Why you think you should be unbanned:
Perma'd for not replying to PM's within 15 mins? never even had a warning before this? seems abrupt and extreme, unless i have alot of notes or something (maybe im mistaken for another notorious player?). never even received a warning before, i dont think ive ever received a PM from an admin, even when i have done the occasional adminhelp im usually met with silence.

Dont you guys have a system to leave players a message / warning? is there no way to see if a player is AFK? alternatively could've waited till you saw me in game again. i dont get why it was so serious to deem an instant permanent ban instead of just a talking to when i was next around (unless the round ended within the first 20 mins i was banned and disconnected before the round the 'infraction' was attempted on ended)

The whole permaban just seems abrupt with no priors and (what i think to be) a clean record.

Whelp i said my piece, id be interested to know if i actually have any hidden warnings / notes.

if you dont' respond to an adminhelp it's standard policy to permaban you so you come appeal on the forum and they can handle the issue.

Not sure why you wouldn't put the actual ban reason which is:
At the start of the round with no provocation, grabbed a fellow miner and tried to run into lava with them to murder/suicide. Didn't respond to adminhelps. Appeal on the forums and explain your side of the story.

I'm also not sure how the miner was being a dick, the only thing I got from the other miner was that they launched the shuttle early, leaving you two behind, a whole 30 seconds of "anguish and dickish behavior" and certainly not a reason to try and murder/suicide by dragging them into lava. Not exactly a very "pvp" thing to just try and suicide, taking another with you by lava. You died on your hand, not any other persons.

As oranges stated, the permaban was to get you to respond here as you did not respond in adminhelps 3 times, AND you were even moving your ghost (although you could have just returned to your computer). It's simply standard procedure. The ban is lifted, but I think I will keep the note unless you have more to add to the situation.

It's been a week so i'm assuming he's content.
