Ban reason: Left the Space Hotel as Hotel Security; which is a no-no to go on the station with hotel staff roles. Seemed like they went AFK afterwards in the dorms for whatever reasoning on the station. Never responded to an inquiries.

Alright so, time for the fun stuff! I uh, grabbed a hotel sec sleeper as a late joiner, and hung around for awhile on there. I had grabbed a flyer from the front desk, and read it. I had all the plans to go to the station to promote the hotel, then parents got in my way. I had to go afk, so I bolted to Dorms and locked myself into a room for (moderate) safety. I was...afk for awhile afterwards, and didn't see any of the Admin messages due to Byond crashing during that time. I have an admin remark I can post if that'd help, too.

So! The ban, I feel, should be lifted because it was given to me for being AFK? I won't do that type of stuff (if I can help it) again, or hell, I can take just being banned from the Hotel if it just allows me to access those other roles again!

A quick and easy way to promote the hotel is to chuck the flyers through the teleporter, cycling destinations. Travelling through yourself isn't really necessary.

Stop fucking taking hotel roles if you won't stay.

Well Gee, sorrrrrry. Relax bud. I usually stay. This ain't just about the hotel sec, I wanna be unbanned from the other rollllles.

Generally these kind of bans just take place as a sort of 'come to the forums, explain what it was and we'll move on our merry way' sort of thing.

So Am I uh, gonna get unbanned from those roles or?...

I put a weekban on as you had nothing else going on that really warranted anything further as you did appear to be AFK.

The big thing here is not to leave the hotel in the hotel role; especially with the hotel security role as often they end up being loot pinatas or interfering where they shouldn't. We may allow people to advertise for the hotel if people adminhelp before hand and if they go on station, advertise the hotel, then go back to the hotel.
