the create new area button looks extremely out of place and you are almost fuckin never gonna need to use it. even resting is used more commonly and it doesn't need a button. either remove the button or replace it with resting

And put the create new area button in the IC tab, because I have used it and it's pretty cool.

Create new area button should have been a verb but there's a meme in coderbus that verbs are bad for whatever reason
Resting needs a hotkey

someone explain to me why verbs are bad
I mean I get that they're not ideal for every situation, or even most situations but why does this translate to "never make a verb ever"

Because coders are trying to phase out verbs entirely, so they don't allow adding them under any circumstance.
Which is funny because "they" are chasing this logistically unlikely ideal world without verbs which is actually impeding the addition of things that would be perfect to be verbs.

verbs are bad because list clutter, and they actually are laggier than procs hooked to buttons on-screen
plus right click lag

I don't care about code I care about functionality, and you should too.

To explain what this means; the right-click menu is slowed down by every verb there is in the game, regardless of if it's applicable in the situation or if the user has access to it.

it loads the entire list of every verb ever and
then decides which ones to actually display?

I've not checked, but I have the awful sinking feeling that it loads every verb ever and decides which ones to display for every atom on the tile which would explain why doompiles can crash the game.

so remove pull and examine and rotate, if those are gone cntrl-click and shift click will become the norm, then make alt-click rotate windows pipes and whatnot.
You could get rid of a lot of verbs then

whaddya mean broken keys?
As in missing parts of a broken keyboard or are you referring to different styles of keyboard, cause I don't know any keyboards that don't have not one, but two sets of shift alt and cntrl.
I mean honestly, we already cater to weak ass computer, goodwill has plenty of keyboards for sale to replace that. I got a shift key that likes to stick, do you see me asking you to work around my digital handicap?
