what if you could only call the shuttle as any head if the station integrity was below 50%
and what if otherwise, it was replaced with a call button that sent a inspector to see if the station is fucked enough to require a shuttle

At certain point round becomes boring and impossible to play. It's about that time when science has four mechs, half the crew has superpowers and engineering all suicided, because they have nothing to do.

50% station integrity is pretty significant, that's literally half of the station tiles gone. it would take a level 6 singulo a good while to do that.

Every round would be a 24 hour round

nah, especially considering all the retards who demand a recall despite having no intention of fixing any of the damage

Add an option to 'deaddrop' the call so it locks it in and can't be recalled.

This is impossible. Station integrity is calculated only once, at round end, because it is very laggy, because it checks all 65,000 tiles to see if they're station tiles.

Integrity above 50%? Clearly the station is perfectly functional and it's not an emergency and there's no need to evac. The entire station being on fire's not an emergency, right?
Also in ops the crew's goal if they don't dunk all the ops is to evac with the disk in their possession, are they supposed to trash their own station first before a shuttle is allowed (more than they already do by default anyway)

fire extinguishers/ion rifle/remove atmos pump
kill all the ops then continue the round as normal, repair any hull breaches or damage the station the ops caused.

Delaying shuttle calls in general cases is likely to motivate engineering to actually get involved in fixing things but A: Sometimes we don't actually have Engineering, and B: That threshold needs to be much higher. Maybe something like 70-80%, not 50%.

I can already do this, along with make it take 5ever for the shuttle to arrive [or better yet take off so someone can bomb it because lmao].

Current system's fairly ideal IMO.
