on the index, i made the default be unread view, (because the options were to either have the thread subject text go the last post, and the white post icon go to the entire thread, or to have the subject text go to unread view, and the white post icon go to the last post) in normal forum index, the default is to open the thread, if you click the red post icon, that takes you last unread view.
