Swiping Assistants IDs

I know up to even just a few weeks ago as a player in a job like scientist/engineer/medicaldoctor/etc you could swipe your ID onto an assistants ID and that assistant gained basic access to your department and ID displayed Assistant to John Doe but I've tried it twice recently and it no longer works. I was wondering why it got removed and if we could put it back in.

i'm pretty sure that's only with agent ids

I used to use it for Melody multiple rounds a day when shed come hang out in robotics. And John would use it when I was assistant so I could cutesylike be his assistant. It was definitely a thing!

Confusing history aside, this does seem like a good improvement to the greytide problem. Can anyone else verify that this was an actual feature on Artyom before?

I've used it before too. It was a good feature and I'd like it back aswell.

It was a thing. I'm only 90% who made it a thing (Ikky) but 100% sure it was a thing. Please rectify.

I remember this being discussed as an idea... I thought that was for tg station, can't remember exactly. But if tg doesn't have it either, I unno.

Yeah uh miggles maybe you should actually make sure you're not the one that broke something before you say you aren't.

Control + F this for assistant_access and you can see that your merge removed the line from the access lists for various jobs, thus breaking the feature.
