Two-hand option for pickaxes

Pickaxes do 15 mother-hugging damage in one hand, Isn't that a little crazy?
You should have to two hand it for that, like the fire axe.

Furthermore, you can walk into rocks with the pick and automatically start picking at the one you touch, but any miner worth his boots clicks the three in front for maximum tunneling.

If you two-hand it, it should strike at the three in front of you, and failing that, one in front and any at your sides.

same with drills and such, because they ALL do the same damage according to the wiki, let's fix that.

Two-handing it should increase its digspeed. Dig faster when you're whacking things with it more.
Also, butcher cleavers do 15 damage too, and I think the base null rod as well. Welders do 15 (burn).

also only full pickaxes do 15 damage, compacts only do 10

Are you seriously complaining that an item that can only be stored on a miner's exosuit, belt, or back hits too hard and want to nerf it?

meanwhile you can just print a circular saw and carry 15 brute in your pocket

Also,

Sorry, I don't into mining.

I think of pickaxes almost purely in gulag terms, so maybe I am being retarded.
But still, it would be sweet to dual hand a pickaxe.

i think dual handing a pickaxe to increase it's mining rate is actually a neat idea

Unless KAs no longer dig tunnel being able to two hand pick axes for a huge boost in mining speed seems like a good idea. Otherwise, what's the point of them when you can just ditch the pickaxe to free up some inventory space and stick with a robust weapon that also mines a lot quicker than the standard pickaxe?

Do any of you cucks even miner. The KA is a highly robust weapon, but it mines slow as fuck, the pickaxe mines just about as fast as it AND you can mine three tiles at once.

KA overheat time is 16 and pickaxe digspeed is 40 so the pickaxe is only better if you're exclusively mining 3 wide tunnels

A good miner knows how to position the 3 wide tunnels to go in directed lines through ore (which is a useful skill for quickly mining with a ripley), while the strip miner uses a upgraded resonator to dig out a entire (with a manual scanner for gibtonite defusal because knowing where ore is destroys the immersions and make strip mining more boring than it needs to be, keep it a mystery) rock faces as a method (which is handy if you have a auxiliary mining base for clearing future space)

Anybody who uses a KA is either a meta-rusher/explorer or clearly monster hunting for kicks non-seriously. (though the new modular KA upgrades are pretty sweet)
