I do not blame Skorvold for this. He got lost in the wall of text Oldman Robustin had been typing. A clever plot by CJS.

Skorvold seems to think Oldman Robustin was a security officer and that the guy we were killing wasn't a traitor who just dual esworded atleast 7 people and that Oldman didn't drag this guy to the medbay mid-lynching.


Why you think you should be unbanned:

An admin should not get the facts wrong when placing a ban.

Excuse my slow response time to your messages and this, I do agree with being a bit confused as I spent awhile looking through the logs some more after the ban was applied. I misread the part where Nyar was the promoted officer and interpreted it as Oldman being the officer. His ban will still stick, with maybe consideration on a days worth reduction due to his poor choices as Security and his extensive history.

I am incredibly sorry for that reading mistake, so if you can please excuse it.
I'll remove this for you. It's completely legitimate for you to kill a traitor and all, and to stop someone from healing him, you and CJS could have done better to have communicated during that rather than to just immediately resorted to fighting. The ban should be lifted as soon as you see this. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

I still disagree with this. Regardless of my role it's not cool to try to murder someone for attempting to defuse a situation. Ok that was a misunderstanding, confusion abound, whatever... when he comes BACK to the brig to hunt me down and take the first opportunity he gets to try and kill me again?

Fuck that, that's straight up Rule #1 dickery. He had no reason to assault me in the brig beyond just being a complete asshat.

Fortunately, this is completely irrelevant.

He doesn't have much of a history, his assaults while uncalled for and wrong have been appropriately punished for the few hours he has been banned, his note for the assault is still there. It's just nowhere near worth a 2 day ban for someone who has so little history.

My advice to you both is to avoid any sort of interaction with each other if you both are this disliking of one another. He hasn't went unpunished for his actions, it's just less of a punishment for less of an offense.

Please avoid each other to prevent such incidents from happening again.
