Add a flag on character preferences, called "Don't Bother". You set this if you want antags to "not bother with you", and not to waste their resources and takee risk in attempting to get you to be an antag helper.

If set to yes, antags will see a red frowny face icon floating above you. It is invisible to anyone who isn't an attack.

Those who see it know that using a mindslave or culting you or whatever is a waste of time, and can instead get their murder boners rattling.

Attempting to convert someone with this flag on will just insta suicide kill them instead, and any method that would waste resources will not waste those resources.

This is a bad idea but could be improved. As written this has all sorts of problems. You don't get to exempt yourself from being targeted by conversion antags on the basis of your personal dislike for Communism or whatever. Remember, nobody "wants" to be converted; if you go running to cult/rev/whatever base as a non-antag and yell CONVERT ME PLOX it's supposed to be bannable. But there's also no real way to enforce active cooperation by people who just refuse to play as a cultist/rev/whatever. I'd get rid of the frowny face and write this in such a way that setting the flag causes your ghost to be permanently kicked out on conversion, and then your mob is offered repeatedly to ghosts until it's got someone who wants to play in it. That solves the game balance problem of shitty team antag converts without allowing people to just opt out of interacting with the round antagonist.

If you really, really, REALLY, wanted this system to work I would suggest a config/flag that means if the player is converted to a antag faction then the game offers up the player to any ghosted players, as well as designating the role the player is now in.

If someone accepts then they get control over the newly created conversion antag and the original player is booted out as a ghost, if no one accepts then nothing happens as usual.
