The toolset arm augmentation.

I come to the ideas subforum to request the
toolset arm augmentation be printable at robotics for the fair amount of research needed and materials required.
However it may be, the augmentation gimmick wore off through quick and multiple nerfs, so the occasional borging turns out to be the only thing you can do, along with the fact that lavaland poops on Ripleys, so they're only created for graytiding jackass roboticists who fuck off thinking they're immortal now.
I wish I wasn't lying when I think the only useful thing I can do in robotics now is steal medbay's 10 medbox's just to make a mass of medibots.
Please, consider making robotics more than just a research point for R&D and let us equip the crew with this great gadget.

I suggested something like this a while back. I'd really like to see some utility-focused augmentations.

As someone who loves working robotics and loves augments and implants, I'd like to see this and more for the robotics department.

This is in the game and IIRC isn't quite ready to be implemented. Hit up coreoverload in the IRC and bug him to implement it if you want it so badly.
I always thought something like this would be really cool as a new steal objective that we could give to the CE or something, but I guess with this it won't work since it's an implant.

I can see it being something that the CE could start with, given the CMO starts with a medihud implant. But like medihuds it be nice that with high research it could be printed from RnD/Exosuit Fab. Wouldn't work as an objective though. I don't think it's important enough, and the CE already has enough steal objectives (adv. magboots, station blueprints).

When it breaks, you light on fire and can't use the special arm tools anymore.
Things like EMPs or singularities break the arm I've seen so far. I'm trying to get coreoverload's attention about it.
