I'm a little disappointed by our recent exchange. I don't normally leave feedback at all, and writing this makes me feel very much like I'm complaining to the manager and to be honest, I expect that to be the interpretation. I don't know how else to convey my concerns, and please don't take this personally at all. But I felt particularly put off by their explanation as to how they are meant to act as an admin. It felt weirdly personal and dismissive to be fed a line about how your only purpose is to apply the rules as they're written. You know that isn't true, and i know that isn't true. What on earth was that?

I was trying to get you to look into a matter that I felt wasn't fair on another player's behalf. But it seemed like the only way I was going to get anywhere was to play legal ping pong for the rest of the round while we broke out the rules to find the exact interpretation to fit my concerns and get you to act. Realizing that this was the only way forward, I just gave up and chose to play instead. And honestly wondered what the fuck is the point in our rules being a guideline if they only valid interpretation is what is put in literal text, even when it is enabling behavior that wouldn't have been acceptable for antagonists. Your reasoning leaves me very little comfort in how empowered most of our players really are to seek out guidance and assistance.

Something that I felt maybe is a core reason why I felt like I was going to have a bad time; I'm pretty sure when I asked for a second opinion on their decision, it feel like Isratosh didn't follow my request whatsoever. I only wanted reassurance I wasn't being shutdown unreasonably. Getting any other admin to weigh in, or an indicator that you had deliberated the matter in adminbus even a little bit, would have been entirely fine and I would have accepted that. Since I didn't really get that at all, could you let me know if you did actually do that? This is what made me feel most like either I was being dismissed for personal reasons, or you were trying to coerce me into making a policy thread. It worked, for what it is worth, but if that was your goal, I very genuinely do not appreciate that whatsoever.

I wasn't aware they were roundstart. I don't have perfect information. You have perfect information, I just saw an assistant and officer on the arrival shuttle in a fight, had not heard Mia prior to that, and just assumed that was what happened. You could have just told me 'nothing there was spawn camping, it's fine' and left it at that. Or just even 'I investigated it, it's handled' and that is fine too if you feel like being as vague about it, and I would have trusted that fact too. I really would have trusted whatever line you fed me if you knew, and I assume the entire time you did know, that the situation was entirely fine.

Instead you led me down some rabbit hole about rule interpretation and making me second guess myself about something I was pretty sure about rules wise. Why? What is the point? Why did this exchange happen the way it did, where I'm left frustrated and confused about what the fuck you are talking about. Were you baiting me into an argument? What the fuck dude?
