The White Ship

The White Ship is metastation's second saving grace. I suggest we port it to other stations too, because Box's ship pales in comparison.

Should be in Feedback but yeah this would be nice, Meta's ship is miles better than every other maps ship.

Steelpoint tried to port it to Box at one point. Not sure why that never happened. The old White Ship is a piece of shit.

Thematically, box has less loot in general and encourages scavenging for resources and making due with what you get, which is reflected by box's white ship.
But on the other hand, metas white ship is cool and is actually a significant reward for exploring space

Yeah the only thing I don't like about the meta ship is that it's loaded with shit.
Why does a medical ship have vending machines and all this other jazz?
That said, it's literally 10 secons in map editor to clear out some of the clutter.

Meta White Ship isn't really a medical ship, but Box is. Meta is more-so a personal ship I feel, the crew of which got killed.

one time on meta we recovered the white ship and used it for fun times, i was the janitor on the ship i cleaned it up, a traitor tried to kill us though

What if we just made a new White Ship from scratch for Box? Something that can actually function as an emergency medbay?

I removed most of the loot as well, however it was denied by the maintainers (Aka Cheri and Miauw)
Feel free to take a shot at it, its been over six months since I tried so maybe you'll get it in.

In that case, fuck those two. The fact that they don't like it is not a valid reason to shut down the PR. No wonder so many people hate coderbus

Problems: A) The white ship is insanely powered as is, requiring almost no maintenance/upkeep and giving you a mobile evacuation ship and fortress until that point.
B) The ship location is static and thereby easily acquired, really, meaning the strengths are that much more felt of the ship.
C) Ship contents could be argued, of Meta's white ship, as being too strong/out of place.
Solutions: A) I understand there is some lighting situations because of it being what it is, but the ship needs an APC or fueled generator to function at the least. Some kind of furnace would be simple, which you load with coke/plasma/bodies to get ship power. Power translates into time remaining for functioning power. Moving the ship would take a straight rate % of the power to work, perhaps with upgrading of the 'reactor'/'furnace' equating to higher output from loaded fuel. Whatever but you get the gist.
B) Easily one of the more glaring problems. We have several z-level maps now compared to several years ago. Give the white ship more spawns, across the various maps. There are several with big open spots that it could sit parked.
C) Map up different designed ships? Kinda like away missions, where a particular type is chosen for the round and loaded. So you get your highly infectious blood-spattered medical ship with cryo tubes/sleepers, or your mobile oppression palace, with a load of barriers, police batons, shields, and riot gear, or whatever. Or just a simple, skeletonized vessel with a chair, cake on it, and the reactor. Not even any wire, either.
Bottom line is that with the extra snowflakeyness added to the ships, and their increased mobility, they need more love in general and some restrictions worked into them. Some more ship docking 'points' in various locations, on station and not, would be good too.

Not sure what standard you think PRs are generally accepted/denied on then.
