I need my dedicated shitpost forum.

On a more serious note, any subforum can be used for shitposting (I can demonstrate if necessary). On the other hand, few subforums can serve as a place for people not directly related to specific incidents to discuss them, and we currently have none that can fill that role here.

That thread was probably locked for a reason.

I too need a shitpost place so i can laugh my ass of when I am feeling down.

Would be nice to know why there isnt a Stenography forum anymore. Even if they have no intention of adding a new one.

Some of the members of this forum's administration staff seem to have a personal issue with Peanuts for whatever reason.

The reason for no more peanut gallery stems from a "no shitposting rule" for this forum. The 'Trash bin' section was made for such posts to go. Long, stupid or ridiculous signatures are a part of this.

I asked for a specific, visible policy to be written down and displayed publicly.
It has not been done yet because I only asked a few hours ago and things are still in flux.
Thus I cannot give you a specific ETA.

P.S. To be clear, I am only relaying information. I am not in charge of anything, I just brought it up in the IRC because I knew threads like this were bound to happen.
