Ban type (What are you banned from?): I killed a player and dragged their corpse to sec, and then didn't respond to admin pms

Ban reason and length: perma ban

Time ban was placed (including time zone): 2016-01-17 15:49:29

Your side of the story: the roboticist working was being pestered by the player in question and attacked, at least I thought she did. I attempted to use the stun baton and subdue her. I'm fairly new so I don't know how most of this works. When I dragged the body to sec I assumed she was just subdued. Being new I don't know how to use the chat interface beyond proximity chat.

Why you think you should be unbanned: I'm new and it was an accident, I don't think I should be permanently banned just because I made a mistake and didn't know the method to reply to the admin.

In hindsight I should have told dorsidwarf to tell you to click their name. I'll take responsibility for that. But the metacomms is not amigo here. It's one thing to help them over Skype and the one helping is not in game, both of you being in communication outside of IC is one of our strictest rules.

That's fair enough about the metacomms. I didn't know about that, I should have read the servers rules, so that's on me. That being considered, is an appeal a possibility now that I know that it's a huge no-no to be communicating outside of IC?

IT is possible. But in the past when people do this we unban one of you and keep the other banned.

Well that's unfortunate. Well do whatever you gotta do I guess. I'd love to keep playing and learn the game but it's up to you guys at the end of the day.

If you can only unban the one of us, unban my friend. He plays this a bunch more than me, and if it wasn't for my screw up, he wouldn't have been banned anyway.

Ok cool, I appreciate it man. Don't want my friend getting permabanned because I did something stupid. No chance to do both though I'm guessing. Regardless I appreciate it.
