Botanist needs a plant using mech

Come on, botany and robotics are across the hall from each other.
Robotics should share the love and give botany a mech
Features include WATER SPRAYER (also can be added to HONK mech), Death Nettle rockets, pocket replica pod dispenser, which when used on a corpse takes its blood, and plants a replica pod with that person that auto harvests

I thought it would of been something like a biofuel attachment similar to the other generators, but gets power based on the amount/potency of the plants in it.

I actually kind of like this one.

I want a PACMAN variant that works off of biofuel now.

My secret botany technique would have some use!

Disregard Dunder, make it happen.

Great idea. Just what we need to expand hydro for more crops.

Seems fitting:

You don't get it thunder. I make a shitty idea like from the previous forums title "librarian makes a book stocking Mech", then someone replies with a genuinely good idea and we go from there.

You do not need a new mech for this, just a tool for the Ripley that can interact with plant pots, and harvest plants by having a plant bag in the cargo bay.

Make the current departmental mechs actually good for what they do first, then think about making ones for new departments.

Take the ody, for example. Syringe gun and sleeper are two of the least trustworthy tools for actual doctoring, but it's all that thing's got. Obvious things like a long-range health scanner or a heavy medibeam gun or a hypospray fist don't exist. But at least doctors have a need to travel, and theoretically could benefit from the environmental protection of a mech.

Why would a botanist need a mech? What does it do? Come up with some clever upgrades, maybe something too big for a botanist to carry (like a mounted super-somatoray gun, or a way to actually load two plant tanks, not just joke weapons and a clumsy bucket). Why just have a bunch of things botanists can do already, like spray water, analyse plants, and harvest them?

Why do you think everyone has to have a mech?

nobody actually gets mechs except scientists and murderboners

What does it do?
Annoy other botanists by blocking the rows of plants and occasionally obscuring their line of sight? If we're so intent on giving more departments more mech toys why not just start implementing some smaller battle tech battle armor type shit instead that won't be a nuisance by blocking hallways and doors and shit?

Yeah, that was directed at the OP, the biofuel generator actually sounds pretty good

Mech is literally a ripley painted green.

Literally identical to the ripley in construction, but instead of plas-steel for the outer shell, its metal rods, for extra fast plant spraying.

Mech moves at the same speed at the ody, but is fucking ridiculiously weak.

Can be equipped with a Bio Generator for power, takes plant matter and converts it to energy.

Can be equipped with a organic dispenser that has four modes, that being one that dispenses water, one that dispenses soil, and one that dispenses pest-b-gone, and one that can dispense any of the fertilizers.

Can be equipped with a botany tool that can switch between a hoe and a chainsaw

Can be equipped with a seed dispenser that has to be loaded up from the machine in order to plant anything.

You still have to load the dispenser up with water from the water tank, and fill it with all of the fertilizers, and place cans of pest-b-gone in it. It comes with soil in it to make the piles.

You can armor it with wooden planks for extra tactical botanist assault mechs. The chainsaw on the mech is oversized, meaning its robust as fuck and does like 80 brute.

EDIT:
its unorthodox to come up with shitty ideas and not explain them in full.

this isn't an original idea by about four years
it was not a good idea then and it still isn't
