My favorite time to play is around Halloween time because of all the really good/bad events. Even bad ones can be fun sometimes, too. I remember some we did a few years back that built up slow and were actually legitimately creepy. One particularly fun shift started out normal and suddenly out of nowhere the station "took off" with the background/effects of the escape shuttle. Then further in the round things got more menacing, lights went out, strange messages(there was some sort of story), weird sightings and eventually the walls all turned into cult walls. It got pretty tense and people kind of worked together to figure out what the fuck was going on. RP is kind of important for a good spooky round, though, and it is something we see very little of.

Folks: If the mods start a legit event that isn't just 2SPOOKYSKELETONS, try to RP a little bit and make it fun instead of validhunting. The best part of the new zombies was the first couple rounds where we acted like we didn't know what they were or how to kill them.

The first time zombies got added they were actually unable to be killed permanently outside of using the gibber/meat racks due to bugs. So... that's probably why they won as hard as they did.

A bunch of skeleton/zombie events, so far. I got spawned in as Ambassador Cranium (along with Officers Mandible and Sternum) yesterday to tell some awful skeleton jokes to the station, which was pretty fun.

It's working, though, I like it. Maybe a few little touches here and there, like carved pumpkins and skeleton remains and things.

I remember we spaced a fuckton out of escape and then they all came back in a big group like ten minutes later ahahaahhaaha

Yeah they revive after a minute I think, so the only way to kill them is to gib them.

Haha due to work schedules and distance from fam I always do my holiday partying before/after the actual days. I'll be off work and bored at home the actual holiday at odd hours only to get on here and see plenty of people still playing. Somewhat comforting.
