Time event thing

What if there was an event that set back time a bit, maybe a few seconds or minutes. so if you get killed by a traitor, you will now be alive again with the knowledge of what they planned. If you were a permabrigged traitor, you might be free again. If you just spawned as a ninja, then sucks to be you you are no longer ninja.

We don't track game state well enough to do this.

Would it be possible to temporarily track the game state that completely - i.e. the RNG determines that the event is going to happen like five minutes before it actually does and thus records everything in that timeslot?

It would only have to record, like, half a second, maybe even less. One tick, right?

I assume that would be better than tracking the entire round. I have no idea how to code it either way.

EDIT: nvm brought it up in coderbus, it MIGHT be possible but would take fucking forever and still might not work

Watch as the entire server shits itself randomly for 5 minutes and nobody gets surprised.
