this just occurred to me recently since erp was unbanned, but are silicons obligated to perform erp with a crewmember if it is law 2 requested of them?

unfortunate-bot alarms "RAPE RAPE RAPE RAPE RAPE RAPE I FEEL UNSAFE!!"

edit: i suppose you could probably law one out of it if you wanted, i doubt you'd get b&

the real question is, why are you asking? do you play sillicon or uh, not?

It's at this moment that I feel switching the second and third laws might be necessary. I don't want salt-filled OOC about raped borgs and traumatised AIs to be honest

Obviously unreasonable or obnoxious orders (collect all X, do Y meaningless task) are a violation of Server Rule 1. The occurrence of such an attempt should be adminhelped and then disregarded.
I'd honestly put it under there

no

Same goes for golems and the creator of golems ordering them around for sex, antag boss/antag minions, etc. There is no exception. If it happens to you ahelp.

Ooc rules override any and all ic rules.
Creepy forced erp that another player hasn't consented to is covered by the "no rape" rule

For precedence look at Red Tape, who was perma banned for constantly pushing the line with creepy ai laws he was always uploading

I always figured it would be treated like statutory rape, so you wouldn't have to consent to it normally. I wrote some stories about emagged borgs being made to erp, as your hacked lawset wouldn't allow you to weasel out of such an order. It would still probably count as rape, though (unfortunately).

it's simple: OOC consent is required for everything sexual in nature. don't fucking do it unless the other person said yes OOCly.

if you don't understand the concept of consent you shouldn't attempt ERP in the first place

I'd say that's probably covered under the No Rape policy, UNLESS you somehow consentually agreed to it.

rape is sex without consent, period

however, this is a role playing video game with two metalayers: OOC and IC. we have to make a distinction between them.

if you give consent both OOC and IC, its not rape
if you give consent OOC but your character does not IC, its rape but must be dealt with as a capital crime
if you dont give consent OOC, its ding dong bannu

if it were up to me we'd ban any forms of sexual assault even if they are agreed on OOCly because it's just super creepy and really fucked up, but I don't write the rules

You can't display your OOC consent without either OOC-in-IC or metacommunicating, both of which are against the rurus. This is probably a good thing, since we really, really don't need people RPing rape.
