Let's all talk about enjoyable restaurants, delicious meals, and questionable service
I've just picked up a poutine from a small restaurant in Kingston and god damn it's good
Anyone else got an all time favourite?

Braised lamb shanks in red wine jus my son. Ensure the fat is trimmed from the shanks, and with the right amount of cooking that delicious lamb falls right off the bone. Easy enough to make at home, the hardest part is getting the jus right.
Do you guys get lamb/mutton in the states? I know we export a lot of it in your general direction.

The best food I've ever eaten?
Can't remember, must have been on vacation in Thailand ages ago, but I know what got close.
Edinburgh. High Street, by Covenant Close. Indian restaurant, cuisine not Westernised. Setting my own mouth on fire, then washing it down with lassi is something that I should really do again.

I once (I say once, I've since had it 15-16 more times) had pizza+chips covered in meatballs and tomato sauce.
But let me tell you it is a 100% gamble as to whether it's going to be a big boost to your day or if you're going to regret it.

I eat the same thing every day for at least 4 days of the week:
2 cups of plain Quaker Oats
Bag of Goldfish crackers
2 turkey sandwiches
2 grilled chicken breasts with brown rice and Hoisin sauce
Of course I snack on a lot of little things between meals because I can't stick to my diet any more, but the core meals are always the same.
