"blinking" for lizard tongues

Basically like the eye blinking effect, except a little red (or silver if you got the silver tongue) pixel on the mouth appearing every so often. Not sure on the actual biology here, but the lizard tongues are kind of based on snake tongues so it makes sense to me.

I support this idea, though if the head gets too noisy with two async blinks + a tongue flick I would suggest making this an emote (*tonguefick or something)
