Ban/note type: Forum ban (player's club)
Ban/note duration: indefinite
Ban/note reason:This is a warning regarding the following post made by you: viewtopic.php?p=778331#p778331 .
"There is an expected level of civility in posting here. Going out of your way to stir up drama and/or otherwise make things unpleasant for everyone may result in getting kicked out of the Player's Club."
Time ban was placed:5/18

Why are you making this appeal? (Put an x in the boxes):
() - The ban/note is factually incorrect
() - The ban/note is not against the rules
() - The ban/note needs modification
() - The ban was unjustifiably harsh
() - I was permabanned and I want another chance
(x) - I am simply appealing

Why should this appeal be accepted?: Well, I was kind of a massive bitch for no reason and I'm sorry. Especially about things I have absolutely no stake in and am behooved to distance myself from implicitly, because.

I was in peanuts throwing peanuts as peanutters do and the peanuts I threw were too bitchy and mean in their commentary for a space that's rather easy going. I feel like I must insist my baseline or day to day is absolutely not that bitchy.

Hey, thanks for appealing, and for keeping your tone level both here and in PMs. I’m lifting the ban, but I want to use this moment for something more than just a procedural reset.

You've been around a long time. You clearly care about the game and the community. You've got insight, history, and a sharp read on where things have gone wrong. But you've also built a reputation, one where the tone of your posting often overshadows the substance. People stop listening, even when you're making valid points. And I don't think that's where you want to be.

This isn't about moralizing. I'm not here to slap wrists. I think you're someone who hasn't been invited to help shape the direction of the community, and has responded to that exclusion by digging in. I get it. But I also think you could do more good if you approached from a place of collaboration rather than confrontation.

That's not wrong. We are stretched thin. This place is fragile. Which is why I'm asking: are you willing to help us hold it together? Not by muting yourself, but by picking your shots more carefully, and building more than you tear down?

I'd like to see what that looks like.

Gimme any kind of response to this, your appeal is not contingent on you agreeing with my perspective or promising to cooperate or anything like that. I just want to give you a chance to take the offer.
