Why should this appeal be accepted?:

The duration of the ban was based on the assumption that I was a ban evader, which I'm not. If you want proof, I sat in that server for several hours doing basically nothing before stealing the Captain's stuff, which a ban evader wouldn't. I also played about two previous rounds on Manuel seriously.
Anyway, if it matters, I started messing with the Captain because I was sleep deprived and bored. I closed immediately after being bwonked because I didn't want to talk to an admin.
I understand that what I did is not acceptable, especially on Manuel, (even if it was a low pop round with the shuttle 5-10 minutes away); and I'm willing to accept whatever alternate ban duration you deem appropriate.

Thank you for taking the time to come to the forums to clear this issue up. From my investigation it looks like you are correct. You are not a ban evader. So I can certainly edit the ban reason here for that.


Here is the catch though.
The other thing that came up while I was looking into you was a recent perma ban on your account from Monke Station.
The ban reason being "Directed harassment at admins, staff and the server host. Banned at request of headmins and host." As well, just prior to that being banned from Security on their server. Which is what I can take a guess lead to your permanent ban over there.

I remember watching you for a while during this round. Some of your behavior was odd, so I kept an eye on you. Then deciding to ask what was up after you looted the Captain. I remember it looked like you had looted the captain to go recall the shuttle on your own.

With this in mind I am hesitant to amend this ban duration. The reasons you were banned from Monke station are quite concerning to me. I wonder if it is worth allowing you back into the server given it appears you were showing some of the behavior as security that I suspect lead to your eventual perma ban there.

Since you took the time to come to the forums and make an appeal. I will lift the perma ban despite these concerns.
After all your history on other servers is not history on TG so you do deserve a fair shot at proving yourself. Do keep in mind that harassing the other members of the TG community is not tolerated and will also net you a perma ban here.

With that in mind I will edit the note to reflect what occurred here in this situation rather than anything to do with being an evader. To the following: "Warned for poor security conduct. "You are allowed to disobey a superior's order with appropriate in-character roleplay reasoning. Complete disregard for the chain of command as a member of security is not tolerated." Looting the Captain to recall the shuttle on your own is not something security should do on MRP."

I will amend the ban time down to time served. Since this on its own would not net you a ban if you were not suspected of being an evader. Which I have determined is not the case.

I have hope that this will wind up leading you to becoming a valued member of the community.
