Disable Greed ruin in config

Disable Greed ruin in config, people are rushing it/trying to find it every round for antag rolling.
Those people that do this and not intent to playing the round already have 4 chances
1. Rolling antag roundstart.
2. Getting Midround antag.
3. Rolling die of fate and getting 20(rare but still a chance on another antag)
4. Ghost antags(nightmare, midround wizard roll etc)
Suiciding roundstart is the most obvious case of antag rolling, where rushing the greed ruin is more obvlivious unknown, if you fail the greed machine 5 times you get gibbed. this is perfect for people who don't intent to play the round because they can just say they died to the greed machine. and if they don't find it they can just "die" on lavaland blame the lag or something or something to regards. I think this ruin is unhealthy with the current rulings we have with antag rolling.

Greed ruin is funny. Probably just needs some sort of external danger so non miners can't rush it? Though I've never observed this happen and if this is a current issue perhaps admins should be alerted to it more and administrate the issue instead of removing one of the lavaland ruins

I don't want to disappoint anyone but I'm pretty sure the only way you can antag roll with the greed ruin is by using it as a very elaborate means of comitting suicide and that's not like... notably different than any of the other thousand ways you can die without using the suicide verb

I think it's better to leave the Greed ruin for legit greedybois and ban antag rollers instead.

Its hard to difference between greedybois and genuine antag rollers since its a public ruin that everyone can go to roundstart if they pleased to if they cant find the ruin they can just die somewhere in lavaland instead where could the line be possibly drawn where its for a admin easy to say yeah hes antag rolling vs a genuine greedyboi

For the keen-eyed admin, it should not be hard. There's ways to monitor this sort of behaviour, and tell the person to quit it.
It requires them to be snitched on though.

Just ahelp people doing it. Iunno if this is something you can really encounter super reliably however since the ruin's spawn and location and even presence on a valid map is down to RNG.
To that extent, how much it is a consistent issue is equally uncertain to me.

I'm not sure but if you ahelp "Hey this guy keeps doing greed machine every round I think they're antag rolling" there's ways to monitor it.

A way to monitor it yes dependant on admins activity, logging would allow admins to easier dive if this person is doing it every round or everytime its available

Give admins the ability to shadowban people from the greed D20. Or make it actually rare and (if it isn't already) make it's GPS signal the same as everything else so nobody can beeline to it.

We have decided we're not interested in changing the spawning of this ruin. We encourage admins to handle any eager overuse that may be antag rolling accordingly. Also note recently the ruin spawn rate has been halved which may impact the availability of this ruin.
