Is the crew manifest OOC?

Its visible from the lobby screen, anyone can connect and see it without observing or joining the round. Is it metagaming to share it in outside programs?

I think its been ruled that you shouldn't post crew manifest in ooc channels before

it's both IC and ooc but in the context of metacomms i would personally say it's fine to post. i would not ban for it. metacomms to me is anything shared from within the round itself, ie observing or joining as crew. the manifest can be read by anyone from the menu without joining the game.

What Dendy said. It's both IC and OOC, it's IC information obtainable without joining the shift - direct from the lobby.

But players that come up with creative ways to misuse the manifest from the lobby or in-game to communicate outside, or whom appear to be using it in bad faith in any way, can and will be banned regardless.

Don't try to game the system on a but ackshually it's not metacomms because instead of fucking it up for everyone else by changing policy around the manifest, we'll just ban you for trying to rules lawyer in bad faith.

Similarly, players that try to use the manifest to metacommunicate IC information to players in the lobby can find themselves in trouble as well.
