No, I have never seen those names before. Seeing the other guy's ban appeal in this forum for ban evasion too made me realize it probably was because I used a VPN too.

I don't understand how I'm linked to these people. I can probably prove that I'm not them somehow. I can join with my several years old discord account and verify it's me.

I assume the other two accounts are also some of the auto generated grief accounts of this player that was mentioned. According to this linked thread and the fact that I'm bothering to appeal this (unlike the accounts kzpanda and tyrelis12) it wouldn't make any sense for me to be this guy. I still don't know how we are linked but if this guy was spamming out a ton of accounts then my byond account should be dated about 4+ years ago, logically. Even after the friend outed his accounts ckeys, he would just generate new ones. Let alone the fact that he would have enough experience ban evading I'm assuming to not link his newly made accounts to his banned ones, probably. Lastly, according to this guy's history the accounts were used for fast griefing as much as possible before being caught then switching to a different account over and over. I haven't done any grief, nor been anything in control of things to grief. I have been curator and paramedic, mostly curator. No access to make the viruses like in the thread, or alternative stuff like delamming the engine or something. I don't fit his modus operandi.

i agree that these pieces don't line up. our system still has you logged as connecting from the same computer that those accounts did. have you been using anything like a virtual machine, a cracked/pirated version of windows, or software intended to change your byond computer id? any of those may cause this.

have you played on any other servers?

Okay! Finally the forums are back. I reinstalled windows, this time a real version, and hopefully this works now. I tried connecting so you could maybe see if what it says about my connection changed? Or do you need to unban me and I try to join after? Let me know, thank you.

Yeah I've played on other servers but there's a good chance that that dude didn't play/get banned on them so maybe that's why.
