For some reason the creator of this PR https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/pull/87431 closed it suddenly,

this saddens me a bit because I think allowing service borgs to grow plants would have been cool. Is there any way I or anyone else could revive this PR?

Any branch made from tg inherits our license which means you can re-PR their code whenever. It's polite to ask first though, you should probably just contact the PR author about it.

I feel weird about the pr, I believe Aliceee is coding downstream now, which might be why it got silent closed

I find service borgs to be a really weird one since they're actually bartender borgs until upgrades. That's not really an entire department, but that is kind of how service exists; interconnected in ways that aren't terribly straightforward (but that's why I like Service)

I really do think it would be easier to just separate them out to bar, hydro and cooking and if you wanna use the other tools, it takes an upgrade.

maybe we could also give those cyborgs new and distinct sprites that arent as ugly as the service borg while we are at it
